About gold filled jewelry: Gold filled jewelry is impressively durable and tarnish-resistant compared to gold plated or gold vermeil jewelry. It is an economical alternative to solid gold jewelry and has a life span of about 10 to 30 years. We suggest purchasing our jewelry in gold-filled chain if you tend to keep your jewelry on in the shower or while working out, and if you want your pieces to last for decades!

About gold plated jewelry: Gold plated jewelry is a very light layer of gold on top of a base metal (brass). Since the gold plating is thin, it is more more prone to tarnishing when exposed to any kinds of liquids or chemicals compared to gold-filled. We suggest purchasing our jewelry in gold-plated chain if you are looking for an economical alternative to gold-filled and can keep it away from moisture!

Care instructions: Our jewelry is made with the highest quality materials and extensive care. All gold-filled pieces are water-resistant, but taking good care will make them last longer

Tips for taking care of your jewelry:

-Remove jewelry before going into the ocean or swimming pool
-Apply perfumes and lotions before putting jewelry on
-Clean it once in a while with a clean cloth to keep it shining
-Store separately from all your jewelry to avoid contact with other metals
-Avoid exposing gold-plated jewelry to moisture, including sweat and water
